The legend says that it was Count Camillo Negroni who invented this refreshingly bitter and complex cocktail in the early 20th century in Florence, Italy. While at Bar Casoni, the Count asked the bartender to replace the soda in his Americano with gin, and this is how our signature Negroni is made: equal servings of Campari, sweet vermouth and our locally produced award-winning Opera Gin Budapest. How to drink our beloved Budapest Negroni? Very simple, just strain the premixed cocktail into the mixing glass filled with ice and stir until well-chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over ice cubes and enjoy!
